Today, I am happy to announce that one of my pictures was “Highly Commended” in the category Landscapes at this year's contest "European Nature Photographer of the Year 2020" on Thursday evening. I was absolutely thrilled!
This year I took part in the 6 biggest international nature photography contests and this is already the 2nd contest where I could “score”.
Have a look at the winning pictures - there are some great shots! For example the great series of the Fritz Pölking Prize from Mexico. Also the series by Florian Smits, which was submitted in the junior category, is really good. Click here for the recording:

As background info to my picture:
I walked over these very old dried up riverbeds in northern Spain (Navarra) last year. A great landscape, with many small plants that are unfortunately not visible from the bird's eye view. All the more one could see the structures of the "Barrancas" from this perspective. It was easy to walk through, as the “hills” were only 1-5m high.
The picture was taken with these technical datas: DJI Mavic 2 pro, Hasselblad L1D-20c, 28.0 mm, 1/25s, F/3.5, ISO 200, 10.26mm (about 28mm 35mm).
Below you find the picture again in 1200px size.
With best regards,
Thomas
