Today's series is a quite fancy mix: in the last two months, between spring and early summer, I have always been able to shoot single bird scenes. Sometimes at the lake, some at the sea, but also in the forest and in the meadow.
There was no chance to dedicate a whole series to one of these birds - but somehow I like this variety of the series.
Special highlights for me were the Black Woodpeckers as well as some great light atmospheres on the last weekend in the Netherlands with Fitis and Bluethroat, whereby I will show you more of this shortly, in my upcoming Texel series.
For this series, I also added 2 pictures at very short notice, which were taken just a few hours ago: I was able to capture a red-backed shrike in best light conditions this morning and even saw a black stork on the way home, in the Bergisches Land - my first sighting.
You can look forward to the next two series, both from the Netherlands, the last weeks were very productive in terms of nature photography and there were some real highlights!
I wish you a lot of fun with the motifs from the land of avifauna.
Many greetings,
Thomas
I hope you enjoyed the series 😀🖐
