At the beginning of the week, this year's winners of the international photo competition "Glanzlichter der Naturfotografie" were awarded - as in the last two years, one of my pictures was also awarded this year, which I was very happy about.
This year, nearly 16,000 images were submitted by photographers from 35 countries around the world. I finally made it in the "Magnificent Wilderness" category, with an image from my "Lenticularis" series.
I still remember this unforgettable night very well - if anyone missed it, here are the two blog entries with the impressions of this night again:
Lenticularis – the best photo session of my life
… and a few more pictures to add…
Despite the difficult circumstances, the organizers have once again managed to put on the 25th edition of this competition. My thanks and respect for that. I also congratulate all the other winners!
As every year, the pictures will now be exhibited on a kind of "road show" in museums, zoos, nature parks, or fairs.
Have a good week and best regards, Thomas
