Like the fourth series, this one was not in my mind before the trip. It is only due to the weather. It was not only photographer-friendly, but we were also lucky enough to enjoy a few days with very little wind in Lofoten this year.
Finally I was able to capture motifs at larger fjords or lakes that only work really well with reflections.
Many of the banks and slopes of the fjords are covered with yellow or orange birch trees and are absolutely inaccessible - especially with these details I zoomed in a lot, because we don't have anything as natural as this in Germany.
I found the structures of the moss-covered stones or huge rock faces that rose steeply into the sky just as impressive. The optimal timing of the autumn colours helped me to realise the images, I hope you will like them.
At the end of the series, I would like to thank Jutta Kalbitz, who gave us some great tips for Rondane National Park and the surrounding area - check her out, she has a great Scandinavian portfolio!
And last but not least, to all readers: thank you very much for your interest and your feedback 👋
With best regards,
Thomas
