In my blog, I usually leave out topics that are too private - but since I've already revealed why Christina wasn't in Iceland last month, I'd like to share some good news...
Christina and I became the proud parents of little Ben on the 9th of July 🍀
Mum and baby are doing well, Ben turned 3 weeks old yesterday 😀 He's incredibly cute and we could just cuddle him all day...so at the moment we're living in a real baby bubble and spending 24 hours together, the last few weeks have been really special.
This week we went out into nature again for the first time - I think there are 2-storey prefabricated houses that were set up faster than our stroller the first time, we definitely still need to practise 😅 Like his parents, Ben will of course become a frequent traveller and will get to know the first countries this year.
I'm currently taking a short break from nature photography, as I do every year at the peak of summer, especially as I'm now taking another 8 weeks off for the family. But this blog won't be taking a break for long: next week there will be an extensive blog entry about photo trips, which I prepared weeks ago, and in September I'll certainly be back with reports from the natural world.
Until then, have a great summer!
Many greetings,
Thomas
