Only a few hours back from the south, I can already share my new blog article with you ๐ This year we spent New Year in Portugal again, where we love the mild winter and the low sun.
ย
We spent just over three weeks there and were able to lead a photo trip for Brockmann Phototravel for 8 days, among other things. It was a lot of fun again and worked wonderfully. As we took our little Ben with us, of course, Grandma & Grandad were also there to support us during this time ๐
ย
As the photographic yield was particularly good this year, I was even able to create four blog series with 19 pictures each - that's why I'm not showing them in chronological order this time, but have organised them thematically. That's why you won't find all the workshop pictures in one series as usual, but all 4 series also contain pictures from the workshop. These are the themes:
- Morning hour on the south coast
- Evening moods on the west coast
- Large and small details
- Algarve in โultra-mega-wide-angleโ (incl. experience report Laowa 10mm)
Today I'm starting with the south coast: although it's not really far from the western Algarve, the climate is generally different. Less windy, less humid, less rough and also different in appearance - characterised by sandstone rather than flysch.
ย
Even in the first week that the three of us spent there privately, we had some very beautiful sunrises in the southern Algarve. This time we spent the time near Faro, as some of the beaches are simply too far away from Sagres for a daily commute.
ย
The good photographic weather then continued with the 6 participants of the photo trip, during this period we also repeatedly had beautiful clouds in the morning and towards the evening.
ย
We photographed a lot, laughed and feasted together ๐ Best wishes at this point to Cordula, Qi, Harald, Vicky, Laura and Tibor ๐ And of course, many thanks to Kathrin Brockmann for the great organisation and responsibility of this trip and to Christina for creating a feel-good atmosphere ๐
ย
I hope you enjoy this first part, the second will follow shortly...
ย
Best regards,
Thomas
I hope you enjoyed this first part ๐
ย
There will be the next three parts in the next 2 weeks ๐
ย
Many greetings,
Thomas
